The good news is we have booked our travel! We are off to the Naviti Resort, arriving on 8 October and leaving early on 15 October.
The bad news is that our 10 year anniversary falls at a really bad time travel-wise - the combination of the Rugby World Cup and school holidays has pushed travel prices up in October. We had a serious think about rescheduling our holiday but in the end we decided celebrating our anniversary on another date just didn’t cut it!
We are really sorry because we know the prices are not low so people may be unable to come.
If you do want to look into coming, here is some information that may be helpful:
You can book a package through the Air NZ Holidays website. However you may want to look at booking flights directly with either Air NZ or Air Pacific and booking accommodation separately. A travel agent may have better and cheaper accommodation options for the Naviti. It also may be worth looking at accommodation options on www.travelonline.com (Australian website) as it seems to offer more inclusions (i.e. all meals, transfers, activities, etc) for better prices than elsewhere. But of course it all depends on what you are looking for.
Our travel agent recommended making flight bookings sooner rather than later as prices will only go up closer to the travel date.
